As part of the library project «Worthy sons of Ukraine” and the system-wide project «Ukraine: from the breathing of century to the present» the library held a historical portrait «Until his last breath, he kept true devotion to the Church». It was devoted to 140th anniversary of a patriot of his native land Blessed Josaphat Joseph Kotsylovsky. He was a Ukrainian Greek Catholic bishop. Head of Library Tatyana Stasiuk told the audience about the priest, doctor of philosophy and theology, professor, bishop of Przemysl diocese of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Participants learned about his life choices, active national and Catholic activities in his diocese, open citizenship, martyred in the Stalinist camp and the itinerancy of the martyr’s ashes.
