«Temples of Adrian Prahov’s soul» is the name of the meeting of literary and artistic meeting room «The eternal constellation of the golden names» which was dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the famous art critic and professor Adrian Prahov.
Adrian Prahov left a great legacy in the form of frescoes of restored St. Cyril Church, the majestic St. Vladimir’s Cathedral, restored mosaics of St. Sophia and St. Michael cathedrals… The head of the Chekhov Library Victoria Sharafanenko told the audience about the period of the Prahovs life in Kyiv; about professor’s wife Emily, who became the prototype of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Cyril Church; about her difficult relationships with Mikhail Vrubel who was the artist and the construction. As well participants have learned about descendants of the Prahovs who still live in Kiev.
